Indian Super League franchise Delhi Dynamos had a memorable jersey launch at the historic Taj Mahal in Agra, ahead of the second season of the ISL.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Akhilesh Yadav and the mayor of of Agra, Indrajeet Arya, were present on the day during the kit launch, as the entire team, including the likes of Florent Malouda, John Arne Riise, Adil Nabi, Robin Singh and Ravi Kumar, along with Brazil legend Roberto Carlos, unveiled the white jersey. 

"White like the Taj Mahal" is how the franchisee side have described the jersey, which sports a red round-neck collar, and a blue stripe running down the shoulder.

Dynamos also made use of the event to announce that they are tying up with the Uttar Pradesh tourism to take forward their association and promote the beautiful game in every nook and corner of the Indian state.

The ISL side are also planning to launch a football academy in UP soon.

"We are pleased to announce our tie up with UP Tourism. We would like to thank the Uttar Pradesh Officials for extending their full support to make this a reality," Delhi Dynamos President Prashant Agarwal said during the kit launch.

"The partnership involves UP Tourism being on the Delhi Dynamos Kit. Also, we would soon be launching a residential academy in Uttar Pradesh."

Delhi Dynamos arrived in India after completing a rigorous preseason camp in Sweden and Denmark, where they played a host of friendlies, with teams like BK Hacken and FC Vestsjælland.

Their campaign in the second season of the Indian Super League gets underway on 4 October, when they go head-to-head with FC Goa at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Fatorda.
