Indian football fans have already started counting days as the Indian Super League (ISL) 2015 is set to start from 2 October.

The ISL franchises are busy bolstering their positions. Meanwhile, Goal.com has reported that Delhi Dynamos have agreed to terms set by former Liverpool and Norway star John Arne Riise to join the franchise for the second edition of the ISL.

Dynamos did not make many signings when the other franchises were busy zeroing in on players from all over the world and India. It seems like their manager Roberto Carlos has been studying about players that he wants in his side ahead of the ISL and now they have a number of players in their bucket list who are likely to join the franchise for the upcoming edition of the ISL.

Riise featured in Liverpool's UEFA Champions League and FA Cup winnings squads and in the last season, he was instrumental in helping APOEL win two titles in Cyprus. He was also a regular in the Norway national side as well.

Surprisingly, Kerala Blasters were chasing this former Norweigan international but they have given up the chase after opting for Carlos Marchena who will be their marquee player for the next season of the ISL.

"We have already announced Carlos Marchena as our marquee player. That is enough indication. I think this (Riise) is a non-discussion point. We are going ahead with our team and selection. Riise is not joining us," Kerala Blasters general manager, Viren D'Silva told reporters on Tuesday.

Reports also suggest that Dynamos have moved into the last phase of talks with former Swedish international star Anders Svensson. Svensson, who has made 148 appearances for the Swedish national team, will add a lot of experience and variety in the Delhi Dynamos squad. He has played for Elfsborg for the past 18 years of his career.

Dynamos have also agreed to personal terms set by young Ghana striker Bernard Morrison. Morrison plays for Ghana Premier League (GPL) side Ashanti Gold SC and has been in real good form of late. The Delhi franchise are also looking at Jorginho, who features in Hibernians FC from Malta.

Meanwhile, FC Pune City have completed the signing of former Cardiff City and West Ham United central defender Roger Johnson.

"Roger will partner Nickey (Shorey) and strengthen our defence. His vast experience of the English Premier League and Championship will be invaluable. He also has an eye for goal which will be an extra asset for us. We are delighted to have him in our team," FC Pune City CEO Gaurav Modwel told reporters on Tuesday.
