New Delhi, Aug 05 (ANI): Indian men's hockey team received a warm welcome on its arrival in New Delhi on Tuesday (August 05) after winning a silver medal at the 2014 Commonwealth Games (CWG) in Glasgow. The Indian team lost 0-4 to title holders and world champions Australia in the finals. Captain of men's hockey team, Sardar Singh said the team is fully motivated for the future matches. In the last edition of Commonwealth Games in New Delhi in 2010, India had suffered 0-8 defeat at the hands of Australia. However, Indian women's hockey team that returned home on Monday, failed to bag any medal for the second consecutive year. Meanwhile, midfielder and captain of the women's team, Ritu Rani said despite performing well at the CWG, the team could not make the country proud.
