Tripura/ Guwahati, Dec 24 (ANI): Cities glowed with fairy lights, markets bustled with cheer and churchbells rang for midnight mass as pre-Christmas celebrations ushered a festive mood across India. Markets across India witnessed a heavy rush with thousands of people flooding the shops decked up with the attractive knickknacks ahead of Christmas. An exuberant wave of festive cheer could be felt in Assam, where people prepared for the festival with gusto and high spirit.
