It's Salman Ali who has emerged as the winner of Indian Idol season 10 beating other finalists Nitin Kumar, Neelanjana Ray, Ankush Bharadwaj and Vibhor Parashar. The young singer hailing from Mewat in Haryana received nearly 2 crore votes to win the singing reality show.
Along with the Indian Idol 10 winner's trophy, Salman Ali was also handed over a check of Rs 25 lakhs.
The grand finale episode of Indian Idol season 10 graced by Zero stars Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif.
The finalists gave some of their best performances on Sunday night where they also got a chance to perform with veteran singers like Alka Yagnik, Suresh Wadkar and Bappi Lahiri.
Indian Idol 10 winner Salman Ali was seen crooning to Sajda song from My Name Is Khan while Shah Rukh Khan lip-synced to it.
Hosted by Maniesh Paul, Indian Idol 10 was judged by Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani. Javed Ali had joined the judges panel after Anu Malik was ousted from the show following the sexual harassment allegations levelled against him by Sona Mohapatra and Shweta Pandit amidst the Me Too Movement.
