Pune/ Mumbai/ New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): Indian cartoonists mourned the death of eminent cartoonist RK Laxman, whose "You Said It" cartoon featuring the 'Common Man' lampooned India's powerful for half a century. Laxman had been ill for two weeks and died of multi-organ failure at a private hospital in Pune city where he lived. Laxman's daughter-in-law Usha said that his body would be taken to Mumbai city to the Common Man statue where his admirers could pay their last respects. Indian cartoonist, Sudhir Tailang said that Laxman's demise was a major loss to the cartooning world. Another Indian cartoonist, Aseem Trivedi remembered Laxman for voicing issues faced by the common man through his cartoons.
