Srinagar, Oct 07 (ANI): Indian Army neutralized seven militants near the disputed border in Kashmir where gun battles have been going on with infiltrators from Pakistan for the past fortnight. Colonel Sanjay Mitra, a senior officer of Indian Army said this while interacting with the mediapersons at Srinagar. Col. Sanjay Mitra said that extremists were gunned down as they tried to sneak further into Indian territories and a huge cache of arms and ammunition have been recovered. India is fighting the biggest group of infiltrators to cross from Pakistan in years, as some 30 to 40 heavily-armed fighters have crossed the Line of Control (LoC) dividing Jammu and Kashmir between the rival nations in the Keran sector and are holed up in the thick forests of the area since September 23.
