Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif has become the world's most searched celebrity in mobile videos, reveals the September report of an independent video service called 'Vuclip.'
According to the report, Katrina Kaif is just above famous pop star Britney Spears who is ranked second on the new list.
"When we tallied up all of September's searches, one star outshone the rest. Indian actress Katrina Kaif pulled in millions of searches and outpaced #2 star Britney Spears by a few thousand queries," said the report.
Among the top 10 celebrities globally, Bollywood actresses Kareena Kapoor is ranked 4 and Sonakshi Sinha is ranked 6, alongside international socialites such as Lindsay Lohan, Beyonce and Shakira.
In the top India videos, 'Kangana's Bikini Jokes' is in the top position followed by 'Vidya Balan on Dirty Picture.'
"A Bollywood star leading ahead of her global peers in mobile video searches worldwide is a testimony to the fact that mobile videos have finally taken off in India in a big way," APN News quoted a top Vuclip executive as saying.
