New Delhi, Nov 28 (ANI): India and Mozambique signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of oil and gas for five years in New Delhi on Friday. Minister of foreign affairs and cooperation of the Southeast African country, Oldemiro Julio Marques Baloi, and India’s petroleum minister Dharmendra Pradhan entered into this venture with an aim to enhance bilateral cooperation on the basis of equality and mutual benefit of both the countries. The two sides discussed various areas of mutual cooperation in the energy sector. The minister stated that both countries should work together in gas and oil sector so that the commercial interest of both the countries can be protected. He also added that there should be mutual participation of both the countries in the training programme.
