Kozhikode, Oct 12 (ANI): India celebrated World Space Week in Kozhikode district of Kerala to mark the success of its Mars mission, where many enthusiast school and college students attended the space exhibition organized by the Regional Science Centre and Planetarium. India's first mission to Mars had entered orbit on September 24, making it the first Asian nation to reach the Red Planet. The spacecraft, called Mangalyaan, was launched in November last year by Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). The World Space Week started on October 04 and concluded on October 10. Various activities for school and college students were organized with the most entertaining being the water rocket competition.
