Siliguri/ New Delhi, Oct 07 (ANI): India's paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) tightened security in areas bordering Bangladesh in wake of the bomb blast in Burdwan district of West Bengal. Two women have been arrested in connection with the explosion that left two suspected militants dead on Sunday (October 05). Police is probing the possible involvement of militant outfits like Lashkar-e-Toiba and Harkat-ul Jihad al-Islami in the blast. India's ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alleged that the regional party Trinamool Congress, which rules West Bengal, has turned the state into a safe haven for militants and accused chief minister Mamata Banerjee of protecting the militants. However, the TMC said that the BJP was trying to communalise the issue.
