Pune, Nov 18 (ANI): India and China began their 'Joint Training Exercise Hand – in – Hand 2014" in Pune. The exercise that aims at focusing on counter-insurgency and counter-terrorism tactics comes weeks after a stand-off between their troops along the border in Ladakh region. Lt General Bobby Mathews of Indian Army and Lt general Shi Xiangyuan of the Chinese Army inspected the guard of honour during the exercise. Lt General Bobby Mathews said that both the countries will be greatly benefited from each other. The schedule for 12 days will focus on training on crossing of obstacles, firing of various weapons, handling and neutralisation of improvised explosive devices and conduct of cordon and search operations in insurgent areas.
