The Income Tax (I-T) department will notify recruitments to 20,750 vacancies which have opened up in its officer, IT support and executive cadres. A notification calling for suitable applications is likely to be put up on the department's website soon, according to online jobs portal Tech UFO.

The notification is expected to announce departmental vacancies to the posts of AO and PS cadres, lower division clerks, income tax officer, inspector of income tax, stenographer (grade II), executive assistants, driver and Group C categories. The application process can be done either online or offline.

The board will hold a written test and interview as part of its selection process to the various posts. Applicants must be in the age bracket of 18-35 years, and will need to present valid email IDs and contact numbers while filing their applications.
