New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): In a fight between Delhi Transport Corporation and an ex-employee for 41 years over 5-paise loss, ex-employee Ranvir Singh filed a writ petition in a court. Singh who was a conductor, faced a flying squad of ticket-checkers in 1973 in a bus going towards Mayapuri. The overzealous checkers found that he had charged a woman passenger only 10 paise for a trip when the actual fare was 15 paise. Singh was later given the salary after the labour court ordered so, but was refrained from promotions and other dues and is also not getting pensions now that he has retired. The DTC had also gone against the labour court and failed to reinstate him.
