A few Indian men got together in order to issue an apology to Indian women who have been ridiculed, assaulted, raped and murdered. The video gives an apology on behalf of all Indian men and shows that they empathise with the dangers and struggles of being a woman in India.

The video was posted in YouTube channel by East India Comedy on 11 August and the video goes viral on social media platforms. Besides notable actors Rajit Kapur and Neil Bhoopalam, stand-up comedians Aditi Mittal and Sorabh Pant also play major roles in the video.

"I am not a woman. But I wish I were one," starts the video with Indian actor Meiyang Chang's words. Then, the video continues with an apology for being an Indian woman. According to the video, India is the second most unsafe place for women in the world, worse than Saudi Arabia where women have hardly any freedom.

The video has received over one lakh views by the time of reporting.

"See... I am not a woman, and I apologise, seriously. You deserves better," speaks Rajit Kapoor in the video. Everyone in the video agrees unanimously that being a woman in India "sucks".

The video criticises Indian men who treat women terribly through various ways from eve-teasing to rape.

They demand a strong reaction from the women who are being tortured and harassed by men. It gives women an advice what she should do or how she should react to men. The video says, "If a man dare to rape you, chop it off and make him eat it for breakfast," continues, "sounds barbarian but he should have thought it before!"

The video speaks about the right of women too. "This is your home; this is your house... It's your right, you should move!" says the video.

After expressing their annoyance, aggression and displeasure to men, the video ends with, once again, an apology from all the actors to the women, on behalf of all Indian men.
