Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who is busy with his forthcoming movie Bairavaa, has reportedly been approached by a top director. Well, it is none other than Selvaraghavan, who is known for making content-oriented films.

Rumours are rife that Selvaraghavan has met Vijay and narrated a mass script. Ilayathalapathy has apparently liked the story and given his nod to star in the upcoming Tamil film. It is also reported that the actor has already given his dates to Sivaji Productions. Hence, they are like to bankroll the upcoming flick.

However, Vijay is expected to star Atlee Kumar's film before taking up Selvaraghavan's film. So, it is believed that the Selva's flick would begin only in the later part of 2017.

Coming to Vijay's next film, Bairavaa, the key portions of the film are being shot in Hyderabad. The team will head to a foreign country to shoot a few songs next month and it will mark the completion of the filming.

Bharathan-directorial Bairavaa, which was launched in April, has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead. Aparna Vinod, Jagapathi Babu and many others are in the cast. The makers have plans to release the film in January as a Pongal treat to the Kollywood audience.

On the other hand, Selvaraghavan is busy with Nenjam Marappathillai, which is being produced by Gautham Menon. The film stars SJ Suryah, Regina Cassandra and Nandita Swetha.
