The fans of Ilayathalapathy Vijay, who were recently praised for fighting piracy, have now extended their wishes to Mahendra Singh Dhoni's biopic, which has been released worldwide on Friday, 30 September.

The Madurai online fans of Vijay have voluntarily come forward to support MS Dhoni: The Untold Story by pasting posters of the film at key places. The pictures of them wishing the film have gone viral.

A few days ago, the pirated DVDs of recently-released Thodari and Aandavan Kattalai had hit the market. Immediately, the members of Vijay Makkal Iyakkam, the official fans club of the actor, alerted the cops about it and ensured that the piracy does not harm the collection of those films.

Coming to MS Dhoni, he is a popular cricketer in Tamil Nadu just like in any other part of India. But it is his association with now banned Chennai Super Kings at the Indian Premiere League brought him closer to the hearts of Tamils.

The cricketer was in Chennai recently and his gesture has drawn the attention of the cine-goers towards the film. As a result, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is releasing in over 230 screens and set to register an earth-shattering opening in Tamil Nadu.

MS Dhoni: The Untold Story narrates the journey of a small-time boy, who transformed into India's most successful cricket team captain in all the formats. The film throws light on the inherent struggles of the cricketer and how he overcomes all the hurdles.

Neeraj Pandey-directorial has Sushant Singh Rajput playing the title role. The film has also been dubbed in Tamil and Telugu languages.
