IIFA Awards 2015: 'Dil Dhadakne Do' Star Ranveer Singh Cuts Down on Rehearsals for 'Girlfriend' Deepika Padukone?

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone share a "special" friendship and the two have always shied away from coming clean about their relationship status. However, this hasn't stopped the "Dil Dhadakne Do" star to exhibit kind gestures towards his rumoured ladylove.

According to a Bollywood Life report, Ranveer, who is scheduled to host IIFA Awards 2015 with Arjun Kapoor, will fly to Bangalore to be part of "Piku" actress' parents' anniversary celebrations. This move would mean that he would have to cut down on his rehearsal time for the show.

Since there has been no official confirmation on the matter yet, this can be considered as a mere speculation.

Interestingly, this isn't the first time that the young actor was spotted spending quality time with this leading lady's folks. Last year, he was snapped while on a shopping spree with her parents in Mauritius.

Despite going out of his way to please Deepika, Ranveer never openly talks about his feelings for her. Talking to Mid-Day, he said he was single, adding that he hangs out with Deepika the way youngsters do.

"I am a hugger and kisser and I do that with everyone. I come from a family, which demonstrates its affection. I love working with Deepika and I admire her a lot. She is the most beautiful woman in the world and is extremely talented. She is one of the kindest person that you will ever come across. She is lovely and it is a pleasure to work with her," he further elaborated.

The two have worked together in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's "Goliyon Ki Raasleela – Ram Leela", and have signed "Bajirao Mastani" alongside Priyanka Chopra.

In other news, IIFA Awards 2015, a three-day extravaganza, is slated to kick start on 5 June at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
