Columbian film "Porfirio" bagged the coveted Golden Peacock Award at the International Film Festival of India 2011.

The award winning film was directed by Alejandro Landes and produced by Franciso Aljure.

While the Silver Peacock Award for the best director was won by Asghar Farhadi for his film "Nader and Simin-A Seperation," Malayalam film "Adaminte Makan Abu," directed by Salim Ahamed, won the Special Jury Award.

The Best Actor Award went to Israeli actor Sasson Gabay for his role in the film "Restoration." The Best Actress Award was won by Russian actress Nadezhda Markina for her role in 'Elena.'

A jury consisting Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Laurence Kardish, Lee Yong Kwan, Tahmineh Milani and Dan Wolman selected winners.
