Acer has launched two new Android-powered tablets for gamers. One of the models, Predator 6, comes with the world's first deca-core or 10-core MediaTek processor.

The MediaTek MTK 6797 Helio X20 packs 10 processor cores and promises to deliver 30 percent power efficiency than the competitors. The processor combines a dual-core A72 processor clocked at 2.5GHz and two quad-core A53s processors with a measured clock speed of 2GHz and 1.4GHz.

The Acer Predator 6 also features a 4GB RAM stick and a six-inch display. Predator 6 also packs a 21MP rear camera and four speakers for delivering the best gaming experience.

Alongside, Acer also launched an eight-inch version of the Predator tablet dubbed Predator 8 GT-810. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and boasts an eight-inch, 1200x1900 pixel display with Predator ColorBalst tech for 100 percent NTSC colour gamut. Unlike the six-inch edition, Predator 8 GT-810 packs an Intel Atom x7 processor and 64GB of storage, which can further be expanded up to 128GB through micro SD card.

The device comes with a measured thickness of 8.7mm and weighs 350g. For better wireless coverage, Predator GT-810 packs 2x2 MIMO technology.

Acer Predator 8 GT-810 will be available in North America for $300, while in Europe, the price will be €349. Both the devices will be available by early November.
