Aamir Khan is one such Bollywood star who has to date inspired many and "Brahman Naman" actress Anisa Butt is one of them. Anisa, who is currently busy shooting for an upcoming web series, has recently starred in first Indian themed international films "Brahman Naman" opposite Siddharth Mallya.

Having been premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January this year and slated to be screened at the MAMI film festival, "Brahman Naman" has been picked up by Netflix for US distribution. In an exclusive interview with International Business Times, India, Anisa spoke about the film, how Aamir Khan has been an inspiration for her and why she wishes to work with the "Dangal" actor some day. After making acting debut on a Television show called "Ishaan," Anisa was seen in "Yeh Jaawani Hai Deewani" and "Baat Ban Gayi."

International Business Times: Tell us something about your role in "Brahman Naman." What is the film about?

Anisa: It is centered around three boys who are on a journey to lose their virginity, as well as win a quizzing competition. Set in Bangalore in the 1980s, it is best described not just as a sex comedy but for me captures these boys' journey during adolescence.

IBTimes: Is there any interesting incident from the sets of "Brahman Naman" that you can share with us? How was the overall experience?

Anisa: We had a night shoot for a party scene, and it was absolutely freezing. There is a shot in the film where all of us were lying passed out on the ground, and I got to tell you that the floor was freezing, and I was shivering between the shots. We got blankets given to us at one point, which we threw off between takes.

The overall experience was fab. Qaushiq Mukherjee has a very definitive vision and I believe everything he does, and a director being clear about what he wants is always a great start. The actors were fabulous. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would love to work with them all again!

IBTimes: Earlier, you played supporting roles in big-budget movies like "Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara" and "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani". Tell us about your upcoming projects. Is there any such big Bollywood movie in your kitty?

Anisa: I am shooting for a web series currently. Unfortunately I cannot disclose much more information as of now, as they have a marketing plan for it. It is an out and out comedy.

IBTimes: Who are your favourite Bollywood actors? Who from the industry inspires you?

Anisa: Aamir Khan for sure; I just love how he goes all out for his roles. Preparing not just in terms of dialogue, and accents etc., but from the inside out. Changing his methods of training to achieve a certain look for the character also. You can tell he is a perfectionist. The actress I have to say is Priyanka Chopra. She is on a roll! And has come so far. She is very versatile and is not just ruling Bollywood, but has made a fab impact in the West too.

IBTimes: One Bollywood actor you would like to work with and why?

Anisa: Definitely, Aamir. I think I would just learn so much, honestly. For all the reasons I said above.
