There are two sets of spy shots, both from the folks at Team BHP, that are doing the rounds of the internet. While one set of spy shots is believed to have been taken inside the plant of the company where the new compact SUV is being manufactured, the other prototype of Creta was snapped on the roads during its test run.

From the images, it appears that the new Creta from the South Korean auto maker is similar to its Chinese counterpart ix25. As for styling, the images reveal the black body cladding of Creta along with the silver roof rails, skirting, OVRMS with turn indicators and front and rear fog lamps.

Regarding the under the hood treatment, Hyundai Creta is likely to be plonked with 1.6-litre petrol and diesel mills with 5- and 6-speed manual transmission. Creta, which will be squared off against Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio and Nissan Terrano in India, is likely to be priced between ₹8 lakh and ₹12 lakh.
