A new prototype of Hyundai Creta aka ix25 has been snapped by TeamBHP member Mayank, while the vehicle was undergoing test rounds near Jasola, New Delhi. Nothing much has changed from what we had seen in the last spy shots, but there are a few new details though.

The new Creta from the house of Hyundai will be out of the block on 21 July. It was said earlier that the Hyundai Creta would make its market debut in India just before the festive season.

The model, which is poised to take on the likes of Ford EcoSport, Renault Duster, Mahindra Scorpio and Nissan Terrano, is likely to be priced in the range of ₹8 lakh to ₹12 lakh in India.

The powertrain of ix25 Creta is expected to include 1.6-litre petrol and diesel mills with 5- and 6-speed manual transmission. In the international market, ix25 is sold with 1.6- and 2.0-litre petrol engines coupled with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, with the choice of front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive.

From what we have seen so far, Hyundai Creta will come equipped with features like projector headlights with LED daytime running lights, touchscreen infotainment system and automatic climate control.
