A three-year-old girl died after her head got stuck between the gates of the elevator of her school in Hyderabad.
The victim has been identified as Syeda Xanaib, a nursery student in a private school in Dilsuknagar area of Hyderabad, NDTV reported.
The incident occurred when a teacher took the lift along with few students to get down to the ground floor. The girl got stuck between the grill gates of the elevator, ANI reported.
The Hyderabad Police said they will register a case in this regard.
"We are registering case, we will take stern action as per the law," Deputy Commissioner of Police V Ravinder said.
