Specifications of the rumoured Huawei Nexus phone have surfaced online, triggering excitement among fans.

Twitter spy OnLeaks has revealed that Huawei Nexus, which is slated to be launched later this year will measure 159.4 mm in length, 78.3 mm wide and 8.5 mm thick. This means the phone is likely to have around 5.7-inch size screen similar to the soon-to-be-released Galaxy Note 5.

He also revealed that Huawei Nexus will feature front speakers and house fingerprint sensor on the back, probably below camera module similar to 2013 model HTC One Max. It is also expected to boast a metal body and USB Type C port, which is set to become industry standard in 2016.

Though most of the features revealed by OnLeaks is in line with previous reports, there is one anomaly with regard to metal body. Last week, a 10-second-long hands-on video leaked on YouTube revealed that the Huawei-made Nexus phone might feature polycarbonate shell. Stay tuned for more updates on this.

Besides Huawei, Google is collaborating with LG to make smaller 5.2-inch Nexus phone. Rumour has it that the search engine giant has shelved 2015 Nexus tablet project, and will be launching one smartphone and 5.7-inch phablet instead.
