Chinese telecommunication major Huawei has launched the company's much awaited flagship P8 series smartphone and a phablet dubbed as P8 Max.
Both Huawei P8 and P8 Max boast of uni-body design with airplane grade metal frame and also features nano-coating making the device water-splash proof.
Huawei P8:
Besides the premium build quality, P8 also houses a feature-rich four-colour RGBW (Red Green Blue White) based 13mp camera with OIS (Optical Image Stabilizer) and an image-signal processor capable of capturing DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex) quality photo. It also houses 8mp snapper in the front.
Under the hood, it comes packed with the company's proprietary 64-bit class 2.0GHz Hisilicon Kirin 930 series Octa-core SoC (System on Chip) backed by 3GB RAM, 16GB/64GB and a 2680 mAh battery.
Huawei P8 Max:
As the name suggests, the Huawei phablet sports a mammoth 6.8-inch full HD screen with pixel density of 326 ppi (pixels per inch). To support power guzzling giant display, the company has incorporated high-capacity 4360mAh, which is capable of running the phone for close to 16 hours of video.
It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop (EMUI v3.1) backed by Hilicon Kirin 930 series octa-core processor with Mali-T628 MP4 graphics engine, 3GB RAM and 16GB/64GB memory.
Huawei P8 and P8 Max release and price details:
The company has reportedly confirmed that the new Huawei P8 -16GB & 64GB- models will be initially released in Europe, Middle East and South Africa for €499 (around $531/₹33,085) and €599 (around $637/₹39,716) respectively.
As for P8 Max is concerned, it is said to get released in 30 regions simultaneously in a few weeks time. 16GB and 64GB models will come with price-tag of €549 (around $584/₹36,400) and €649 (around $690/₹43,031) respectively.
