In a bid to expand its smartphone portfolio in India, Chinese smartphone and telecom manufacturer, Huawei has introduced four new Android smartrphones - the Ascend G610, Ascend G700, Ascend Y320 and Ascend Y511 in the country.

Huawei Ascend G610

Huawei Ascend G610 smartphone comes with a 5-inch IPS qHD (540x960 pixels) display and runs on the ubiquitous Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS with the company's Emotion UI layer atop. The handset is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and packs 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable further by up to 32GB with the help of microSD card. It comes equipped with 5-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. The dual-SIM smartphone also packs sensors like G-sensor, light sensor and digital proximity and houses 2150mAh battery. The smartphone is priced at ₹12,999 in the sub-continent.

Huawei Ascend Y320

Ascend Y320 is the cheapest in the bunch and comes with a price tag of ₹6,499. The dual SIM smartphone packs 4-inch (480x800 pixels) WVGA display and 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor with 512MB of RAM. It runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and comes with 4 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 32 GB via microSd card. On the connectivity front, the Ascend Y320 includes 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth and features 2-megapixel rear camera and 1350mAh battery.

Huawei Ascend G700

The next smartphone in the list is Ascend G700 which sports 5-inch IPS display with a 720x1280 pixel resolution. It uses Android 4.2 Jelly Bean platform with Huawei's Emotion UI layer on top and is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor. Other features of the handset include 2GB of RAM, 8GB inbuilt storage with expandable option, 8-megapixel rear camera with an LED flash, a 1.3-megapixel front camera and 2150mAh battery. The handset comes for ₹ 17,999.

Huawei Ascend Y511

Lastly, Huawei Ascend Y511 boasts 4.5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572 processor paired with 512MB of RAM. It features 3-megapixel fixed-focus camera and 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera. Other features include 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card and 1730mAh battery. The phone will be available for ₹7,499.
