Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC will reportedly launch the second Facebook phone, codenamed 'Myst', in the coming months.

Technology website Unwired View claimed to have gotten hold of the alleged spec sheet of the HTC Facebook phone. The new smartphone is pegged to feature a 4.3-inch 720p display with pixel density of 320 ppi (pixels per inch) and it is expected to run on Android mobile OS v4.1.2 Jelly Bean.

The website also reported that the Facebook phone will ship with Qualcomm Snapdragon (chipset type: MSM8930) dual-core processor with 1.5GHz CPU speed packing 1GB RAM and storage space of 16GB with no microSD slot option for memory expansion

The spec sheet also revealed that the new smartphone would sport a 5-megapixel main camera and a secondary front camera with 1.6-megapixel image resolution. The smartphone is also expected to feature the latest version connectivity technology such Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n),LTE capability and category-14 HSDPA.

The new phone will come with Facebook software along with newer versions of applications such as Facebook app, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and others.

The Unwired View has reported that the new HTC-Facebook phone will initially hit US markets in spring. There is no news about when the new Facebook phone would enter Europe and Asian markets.

Previously, HTC had released first Facebook phone, HTC Status (HTC ChaCha), as well as touch-screen version HTC salsa in early 2011. HTC ChaCha sported a QWERTY keypad. principally designed for text messaging. Both devices boasted dedicated Facebook button each though which users can directly post comments on the social networking site.
