Taiwanese smartphone maker HTC is reportedly planning to launch the company's 2015 flagship handset One M9 in India next week.
The company has begun sending out invites to select media houses for an event scheduled on 14 April. In the invitation (courtesy NDTV Gadgets), we see a gift box with a caption, "unveiling brilliance, join us as we reach yet another milestone in our pursuit," followed by a hash-tag- "#htcPursuitOfBrialliance".
Going by the invite, one does not need to be a genius to guess that this event is related to the official India launch of the HTC One M9. Even the company during the global unveiling last month at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2015 had announced to release marquee smartphone in India in April.
For the uninitiated, HTC One (M9) boasts industry's first dual-tone metal body design language, wherein the phone's rear-side comes with silver-coating and on the edges, it is laced gold-metal coating providing dual-metal premium finish.
And on the front, it sports a 5.0-inch full HD (1,920x1,080p) LCD display with Gorilla Glass 4 shield and run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS powered by the 64-bit class 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 Octa-core CPU backed by the DRR4 series 3GB RAM, 32GB/64GB inbuilt memory and a 2,840mAh battery that can run the phone for close to 402 hours under standby mode.
On the photography front, it houses a feature-rich 20.7mp camera on the rear-side and an ultra-pixel (4.1-mp) snapper with wide-angle capture feature, which will certainly please selfie aficionados.
