Taiwanese smartphone maker, HTC has reportedly released a new mid-range handset Desire 310 in India via online stores.
HTC Desire 310 made its global debut just a couple of weeks ago. This mid-range smartphone sports a 4.5-inb FWVGA (480x854p) display with pixel density of 218 ppi (pixels per inch) and ships with Android v4.2.2. Jelly Bean OS powered by MediaTek quad-core processor backed by Mali-400MP2 graphics engine, 1GB RAM, 4GB inbuilt storage (expandable up to 32GB).
Other stipulated features include 5.0-megapixel camera (No LED flash support), o.3-megapixel camera, 2000 mAh battery which can provide power smartphone up to 11 hours of talk time and close to 852 hours under standby mode. On connectivity front, the device features dual-SIM slots, 3G network support, Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi and GPRS/EDGE.
Going by the specifications, HTC Desire 310, marginally comes short against the popular Motorola Moto G in terms of type of chipsets, camera and battery, but manages to salvage some pride with the inclusion of microSD slot, which is the only feature absent in the rival smartphone. The HTC device will also be competing against another MNC brand Sony Xperia E1, which also made its debut few weeks ago.
