HTC Butterfly S finally made its way to the Indian smartphone market. The device was seen listed on e-retailer Saholic.com with a price tag of ₹52,428.
Although the company is yet to officially announce Butterfly S for the Indian market, online retailers have opened the pre-order window for the smartphone. According to Saholic, delivery of the smartphone will begin from 11 September. The website mentioned the original price as ₹60,300.
Regarding the specifications of HTC Butterfly S, it comes with a 5-inch 1080p display and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor clocked at 1.9GHz. It packs 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage along with a massive 3,200 mAh battery. The HTC Butterfly successor also comes equipped with a 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera and Zoe camera software feature. On the front, it packs a 2.1-megapixel snapper.
The smartphone runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system with the latest Sense UI 5.The device which measures 144.5 x 70.5 x 10.6mm and weighs 160 grams, is bulkier compared to HTC's older smartphone. In terms of connectivity, the device supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, DLNA, NFC and GPS.
