The speculation around the leading lady of Hrithik Roshan's next is getting interesting by the day. From A-listers to fairly new names, some of the industry's pretty faces have so far been associated with the Sanjay Gupta directorial.

Anushka Sharma, who was reportedly approached by the makers of the "Mohenjo Daro" star's next, may give way to Yami Gautam, whose calendar for this year isn't very packed, reported Spotboye.

The suave actor has expressed interest in wrapping up his home production as quickly as possible so that he can begin work on Yash Raj Films' "Thug", to be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya. Unfortunately, Anushka is caught up with Karan Johar's "Ae Dil Hai Mushkil", the shooting for which isn't coming to a close anytime soon. This is where Yami scores.

Interestingly, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Parineeti Chopra were also, at one point in time, being considered for the role. The former let go of the opportunity as she wasn't too keen on playing a visually impaired woman in the film.

Parineeti, on the other hand, has reportedly been very picky of the kind of films she wants to do in future as her past few projects have bombed at the box office. "Her last few films failed despite her working so hard for them. This time, she is waiting for the right script. She is sitting for a lot of narrations but hasn't okayed anything yet," DNA quoted a source close to the actress as saying.

In other news, Hrithik is busy wrapping up Ashutosh Gowariker's period-drama "Mohenjo Daro" and Yami will next be seen in "Sanam Re", romancing Pulkit Samrat.
