Hrithik Roshan, who started his acting career with father Rakesh Roshan's directorial "Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai" (2000) that turned out to be a blockbuster, will reportedly not star in his next.

The "Bang Bang" actor, who is busy shooting for Ashutosh Gowariker's "Mohenjo Daro" in Bhuj, is said to have stepped out of the film due to unavailability of dates, reported Glamsham.

Rakesh's untitled film is his debut production venture, which will be directed by Abhinay Deo.

With Hrithik's exit, the makers have roped in Kunal Kapoor to play the "Dhoom 2" actor's character.

Besides Kapoor, Rakesh's much ambitious production venture will also feature Aditi Rao Hydari, Irrfan Khan, Kunaal Roy Kapur and Vijay Raaz.

Touted to be a comedy-thriller, the film is likely to go on floors by the end of February and will be shot in various locations including Mumbai and Lucknow, reported Deccan Chronicle

Kapoor has reportedly started working on his physique and is getting trained in kick-boxing and martial arts.

Meanwhile, Hrithik's "Mohenjo Daro" is a love story that dates back to 26th century BC. The "Krrish 3" star will be seen romancing new-comer Pooja Hegde in the film. The film is said to be the director's mega project with a massive budget.

The honey-eyed actor has reportedly charged a whopping ₹50 crore for the film, as he chose not to share the profit from the film and instead take home the massive amount.
