The Apple iOS 9.3.3 OS update, which started seeding in July this year, is slowly finding itself in iPhones, iPads and the iPod Touch devices across the world. However, if you are a user of an Apple iDevice who has attempted to jailbreak iOS 9.3.3 but got stuck at the black screen of death error, a workaround is now available.

Folks over at Redmond Pie have discovered a comparatively easy way out to fix the black screen of death while resorting to jailbreaking an Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch running iOS 9.3.3.

Check out the steps below to fix the black screen of death while jailbreaking your iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch running iOS 9.3.3:

Step 1: After you encounter the black screen of death while jailbreaking your device, immediately resort to performing a hard reboot of your device.

Step 2: After performing the hard reboot, as stated in Step 1, power on your iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch and back-up all the contents within with the help of the iTunes utility. After back-up, fully restore iOS 9.3.3 firmware using iTunes.

Step 3: In order to restore iOS 9.3.3 firmware via iTunes, resort to a clean restore to iOS 9.3.3, to jailbreak your device. During this step, you can download the iOS 9.3.3 IPSW files from here.

Step 4: Use Pangu jailbreak for iOS 9.3.3 and jailbreak your Apple iDevice, again. During this step, you should not get to encounter black screen of death.

Step 5: After you are successful in jailbreaking your iOS 9.3.3 device, do a complete restore of the contents of your device, with the help of iTunes.
