Honda Cars India Limited has released a new set of images of the top end variant of its Moblio MPV RS on the company website, offering us a clear view of the features offered in the car.

Mobilio RS, the sporty and stylish variant of Mobilio MPV is offered only in diesel variant in the country and the vehicle will reach Indian shores in September this year. The company, which launched the Mobilio MPV for the Indian market last week also announced the launch of Mobilio RS in the country. The vehicle has been priced at ₹10.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the bookings are open in India with a token amount of ₹50,000.

Under the hood, the Mobilio RS will pack 1.5l iDTEC diesel Earth Dreams engine, which is tuned to churn out a power of 100 ps @ 3,600 rpm, maximum torque of 200 Nm @ 1,750 rpm, promising to offer a fuel efficiency of 24.2 kmpl.

Mobilio RS, the top variant of Honda Mobilio lineup looks sporty with its exclusive features like Sporty Chrome Grille, Chrome Door Handle and Sporty Alloy Wheels. It comes with Chrome Garnish fog lamp, Projector Head Lamps with LED Position Lamps and Power Retractable ORVM with Turn Indicator.

In addition to this, it also sports RS Emblem Rear Bumper with Chrome and Tailgate Spoiler.

The vehicle comes in seven body colours – Brilliant Gold Metallic (New and exclusive), Carnelian Red Pearl, Majestic Blue Metallic, Urban Titanium Metallic, Alabaster Silver Metallic, Taffeta White and Crystal Black Pearl (exclusive to RS).

Meanwhile, the bookings of Mobilio in India crossed 6,000. Launched with a price tag starting at ₹6.49 lakh, Honda Mobilio measures 4,386 mm in length, 1,683 mm in width and 1,603 mm in height. Under the hood, Mobilio packs 1.5L i-DTEC diesel engine and 1.5 L i-VTEC petrol engine. The diesel engine of the Mobilio delivers 100 ps @ 3,600 rpm, maximum torque of 200 Nm @ 1,750 rpm and the petrol model promises to churn out a maximum power of 119 ps @ 6,600 rpm, maximum torque of 145 Nm @ 4,600 rpm. Both the engines come mated to a five-speed manual transmission.
