Honda has launched the 2014 version of its successful CB shine in the country with new graphics and two new body colours.

The two-wheeler, CB Shine, which has been riding high on success since its launch in 2006, has a customer base of over 30 lakh till date. The latest iteration of the 125cc CB shine gets mainly cosmetic upgrades and the mechanical specifications of the bike remains the same.

Under the hood, the CB shine carries 125cc, air-cooled engine, which can pump in a power of 10PS at 7,500rpm and a peak torque of 10.5Nm at 5,500rpm.

The new additions to the colour palette include Pearl Amazing White and Dual Tone Red & Black. It will be sold alongside the existing colours Black, Geny Grey Metallic and Rebel Red Metallic with no additional cost.

CB Shine is available in three trims in India - Kick Drum Spoke, Self Drum Alloy and Self Disc Alloy and is retailed with a price tag starting at ₹52,153 (ex-showroom Delhi).

It is the country's top 125cc motorbike, that measures 2014 mm in length, 762 mm in width, 1071 mm in height and has a wheel-base of 1266 mm.

"Acknowledging the evolving customer needs, Honda has regularly reinvented the model. Maintaining crisp power with time trusted Honda technology, the new style sheet will further up the style quotient of CB Shine and reaffirm it as a true Winners' Choice."

Recently, the company launched its cheapest motorcycle CD 110 Dream in India with a price tag of ₹41,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It shares similarity with other Dream series bikes Neo and Yuga.

The Honda CD 110 Dream is powered by 110cc, air-cooled motor, which can pump in 8.3 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 8.63 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The bike comes with Honda Eco Technology (HET), which gives a mileage of 74 kmpl.
