Holi 2016 is just around the corner as the nation is ready to celebrate the colourful festival March 23. Like most other festivals, Holi celebration is also incomplete without some popular Holi based songs.

Bollywood films have till date offered several hit songs on Holi that cannot miss your playlist during the celebrations. While some of the tracks are old but evergreen hits, some others are relatively new and instantly bring out the celebration mood.

Holi is also called the festival of colour and is primarily celebrated across India and Nepal. People celebrate the occasion by putting colours on each other and having feasts and partying. Although it is primarily a Hindu festival, people of different religions also take part in it.

"Hori Khele Raghuveera:" In the voice of Amitabh Bachchan, this song is from the movie "Baghban."

"Holi Ke Din Dil Khil Jaate Hain:" This song is from "Sholay," starring Dharmendra, Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini and others.
