Rumours of Ajith suffering a heart attack were doing the rounds last night, 23 October, on social media sites, which shocked many of his fans. But timely clarification by Thala's manager has put an end to the speculations.

Miscreants had created a photoshopped screen shot of Ajith's manager Suresh Chandra to spread false news on the actor's health. The news, which said that the actor suffered a heart attack and has been admitted to a private hospital, went viral on Twitter and WhatsApp.

Reacting to the rumours, Suresh Chandra tweeted, "Baseless rumours on Mr Ajiths health floated by ugly minds . Sir is healthy and fine."

The post came as a big relief for the legion of actor's fans, who expressed their anger against the people behind the false speculation on social media sites.

Ajith suffered a leg injury recently and there were reports of the actor undergoing a surgery. This is the same leg that the actor had injured while shooting a movie.

Currently, Ajith is busy with the post-production work of his next movie "Vedalam". The Tamil movie will go for censor next week and the makers are hoping that the movie will get a clean 'U' certificate from the Regional Censor Board.

"Vedalam", which is likely to be released on 10 November, is bankrolled by AM Rathnam and directed by Siruthai Siva. The Tamil movie has Shruti Haasan in the female lead role and Lakshmi Menon, Kabir Duhan Singh and Rahul Bose are in important roles.
