If you're an ardent fan of VH1's "Hit the Floor", you must be heartbroken that Ahsha and Derek are no longer a couple. However, shippers of the two can still hope Ahsha and Derek will get back together in Season 3. Their love story will be the focus of episode 2.
Fans of the show would remember Derek Roman made a vow to fight for Ahsha's love. It appears he has taken that promise quite seriously. Although Ahsha is getting cosy with her ex, German, Derek is unfettered by all the competition.
To be sure, Derek would not have to fight for Ahsha if he knew German killed Olivia. However, his lack of knowledge would expose his real love for Ahsha.
In the promo for the upcoming episode, Derek runs into Ahsha at the park where they used to run together. The two have a civil conversation.
Ahsha and Derek choose a neutral topic and discuss their dance. Ahsha reveals she's been working on her dance and getting pretty good responses to her choreography. At this point, Derek says: "Thanks to the last six months I know my worth now. I need to be where everyone else is too. Your pops thinks I'm pushing the limit. I'm having no regrets in my life."
Derek continues running after dropping this bomb on Ahsha, who turns back and looks at her ex, indicating she might still be in love with him.
Season 3 Episode 2's synopsis, released via TV Guide, reads:
Jelena's forced to be nice to Vanessa while German must answer to Ahsha. Meanwhile, Sloane prepares to testify against Oscar; Zero gets jealous; Kyle becomes suspicious; and Raquel receives news.
