Shimla, Feb 12 (ANI): For effective and advanced policing system, a Crime and Criminal Tracking Network and Systems (CCTNS) was launched in Himachal Pradesh. The pilot project would not only help in data sharing with other states and countries, it would offer people-friendly services also like registering a complaint. Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh launched the project in capital Shimla city. Around rupees 19 crore has been spent on this project and rupees 2200 is being incurred for it in the national level. Registering First Information Reports (FIRs) and getting a status report online will be new service available to the citizens.
