'Highest paid Bollywood actress' Kangana Ranaut to charge more than Rs. 11 crore per film?

In an attempt to defend Kangana Ranaut, her sister Rangoli Chandel has claimed that the actress indeed is the highest paid Bollywood actress and that she would soon charge a fee of even more than Rs. 11 crore per film.

It was recently reported that news about Kangana being the highest paid Bollywood actress was false, and that she has been paid just Rs. 3 crore for her upcoming movie "Rangoon." These reports also claimed that Kangana was lying about being the highest paid actress when she was earlier quoted saying, "I think my fee is justified."

Now Kangana's sister Rangoli has said that these rumours are false and that she is actually the highest paid actress in Bollywood. "These are all baseless rumours. We have charged Rs. 11 crore for the movies that we signed last year. Unarguably, Kangana is the highest paid actress. In fact, post 'Rani Laxmi Bai,' whichever project I am negotiating for, her contract is going to be for more than Rs. 11 crore," Rangoli told Bollywoodlife.

Earlier, a report in SpotboyE had said that Kangana is way below the margin of being the highest paid Bollywood actress as she was paid just Rs. 3 crore for "Rangoon." The report had also said that unlike her co-stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Kangana was not happy with the payment she received for the film.

It was also reported that the "Queen" actress had lied about her age as a copy of her passport had showed that Kangana is 30 years old and not 29 that had been reported so far. The copy of the passport had showed that Kangana was born on March 23, 1986.
