All "Heroes" fans are waiting anxiously for 24 September when its revival show "Heroes Reborn" will premiere on NBC. However, many fans have been upset that while many of the "Heroes" will return, there is still no news regarding the return of two favourite characters, Skylar and Peter.

Sylar aka Gabriel Gray (Zachary Quinto) was the primary antagonist in "Heroes" who targeted other superhumans to steal their powers. However, the last we saw him, he had changed for the better, with the help of Peter(Milo Ventimiglia). We do know that Quinto is not among the main cast, but his return in a guest spot was hinted by series creator Tim Kring.

Peter, who was recently seen as the ogre in "Gotham" told Zap2It, "As far as I understand, they're already back to work and have broken their stories. Maybe they'll mention the Petrellis, but I don't see it happening that I would be revisiting. Just not gonna happen."

After breaking our hearts with the news, he also squished any dreams we had about Quinto as Sylar by adding, "I'm very excited for Jack and I'm very excited for Masi and Zach – that's Levi and not Quinto".

"Heroes Reborn", which was shot almost entirely in Canada is also going to act as a mirror for current social issues, much like its predecessor. It is also trying to bring in diversity with the new cast, as it did with the old one.

Ryan Guzman, who plays one of the Evos Carlos Gutierrez revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that the drama will feature a luchador storyline. "Especially for the Latin community, the luchador is an embodiment of heritage and family. I love that we're bringing the whole Latin culture into this new, crazy world of Heroes," he said.
