Director Nikhil Advani's movie "Hero" starring debutantes Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty in leads, has received positive reviews from the audience around the world.

"Hero" is a romantic action movie with all other commercial elements to woo mass audiences. Nikhil Advani, along with Umesh Bist,  has written the story, screenplay and dialogues for the movie, which has been produced by Salman Khan and Subhash Ghai under the banner Salman Khan Films.

Radha (Athiya Shetty) is the daughter of police office Mathur. Mumbai gangster Sooraj (Sooraj Pancholi), who is the protege of her father's arch-rival, kidnaps her and takes her away from the city. But he falls in love with her after a series of events. What happens next forms the crux of the film.

"Hero" marks the acting debut of two star kids --  Aditya Pancholi's son Sooraj and Sunil Shetty's daughter Athiya. The audience, who have watched the movie, say that the newbies have tried their best to impress the viewers. The movie has rich production values and is good entertainer.

So #Hero might be filled with clichès, but it's so entertaining! And such an impressive debut by both @soorajpancholi9 and @theathiyashetty Loved their chemistry and screen presence. Quintessential Hindi film hero-heroine. Both emote so well. @soorajpancholi9 @theathiyashetty Ofcourse a love story like that would not be as believable in today's times as it was in the 80s.
