In a bid to boost sales during the festive season, home-grown two wheeler maker Hero MotorCorp has launched its Maestro scooter with new colour options and body graphics.
Under the hood, the Maestro still packs the the same 109cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder engine, which can pump in a power of 8 bhp at 7500rpm and a peak torque of 9.10 Nm at 5500 rpm. Since it is just a mild makeover, the new Hero Maestro has the same price tag of ₹52,360 (ex-showroom Mumbai) and gets features like combined braking system and drum brakes both at front and rear.
The Maestro is now available in - groovy medley, panther black, magnetic matt grey, force silver, vital white, blazing red and electric blue colours. Seated on a wheelbase of 1240 mm, Hero Maestro measures 1780mm in length, 710mm in width and 1165mm in height. It gets a ground clearance of 155mm.
Earlier this week, Hero expanded its bike portfolio in the country with Splendor Pro Classic and Passion Pro TR. Hero Splendor Pro Classic, the country's first 100cc class bike with café racer styling is powered by 100cc, air-cooled, 4-Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine, which can pump out 6.15kW (8.36Ps) @8,000rpm and a peak torque of 0.82Kg-m (8.05nm) @5,000rpm.The second bike Hero Passion Pro TR gets power from 100cc, air-cooled, 4 Stroke Single Cylinder OHC engine, which can churn out 7.7bhp @7500rpm and maximum torque 8nm @4500rpm.
While the Splendor Pro Classic has been price at ₹48,650,the Passion Pro TR gets a price tag of ₹51550/- (ex-showroom Delhi).
