Hero MotoCorp unveiled its new 110cc scooter Duet in India at the launch of the company's new Maestro Edge.

To be offered in two variants – VX and LX – the Hero Duet comes powered by 110cc, air-cooled, 4-stroke, single cylinder unit that can dish out 8.31 BHP @ 8,000 rpm and 8.3 Nm of torque @ 6,500 rpm. The Duet claims a fuel efficiency of 63.8 kpml.

The Hero Duet will be  available in six body colours - Candy Blazing Red, Pearl Silver White, Grace Grey, Matte Nature Green, Panther Black and Vernier Grey.The prices of the Duet scooter will be revealed later this year.

As for features, the Hero Duet gets under-seat mobile charging port, remote seat opening, remote fuel-lid opening, pass switch, service reminder, side stand indicator, illuminated storage compartment and twin parking lamps. Other features include telescopic fork suspension at the front and an integrated braking system.

On the other hand, the Hero Maestro Edge - the newest in the 110cc segment - measures 1,840 mm in length, 695 mm in width, 1,190 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,265 mm. The kerb weight of the new scooter stands at 110 kg.

Offered in two variants - LX and VX - the Hero Maestro Edge will be available in seven body paints: Pearl Silver White, Panther Black, Shooting Night Star, Candy Blazing Red, Techno Blue, Matt Vernier Grey and Matte Blue. The Hero Maestro Edge has been priced at Rs 49,500.
