The on-set photos of Aamir Khan have made the wait for "Dangal" hard. The makers are set to put out something special from their film.

According to a Catch News report, the first poster is scheduled to release on July 4. Unfortunately, there's been no update about the trailer.

What else is going on with the sports-drama film?

Aamir is planning to shoot a video with his onscreen daughters — Fatima Sana Sheikh and Sanya Malhotra. There is no room for music in this Nitesh Tiwari directorial, but there had to be a track just for promotional purposes. "The problem was then how to promote the film if there were no songs. So it was decided by Aamir and director Nitesh Tiwari that this special video will be shot for promotional purposes," a source told Koimoi.

Why is "Dangal" such a highly-anticipated film?

Aamir is returning to the big screen after two years – his previous film, "PK," was out on Dec. 2, 2014. The superstar has worked hard on his physical transformation. Piling on kilos and losing them in a matter of weeks is no laughing matter. The obvious comparisons with Salman Khan's "Sultan" is another reason why it's making headlines.

So how did he gain and lose all the weight so quickly?

Talking to the Hindustan Times, the 51-year-old actor said that he had gone on non-vegetarian diet to gain the kilos and then turned to vegetarian food when he had to lose them. "While working on your weight, diet gets 50% weightage while exercise comprises 30% and 20% weightage is given to rest. Only that balance will give you desired results and yet keep you healthy," he told the leading daily.

"Dangal" opens in theatres on Dec. 25.
