Xiaomi smartphones aren't readily available for purchase, especially if the model you are looking for is extremely popular like Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. Much water has flowed since the phone was launched in the market, but the demand is only getting higher. Later, two other phones have joined the lineup to offer consumers a wider choice.

It must be a lucky day for Xiaomi fans. Two popular Xiaomi smartphones – Redmi Note 4 and Redmi 4 – are available online. Xiaomi usually follows a flash sale strategy to sell its smartphones online. Due to huge demand and limited quantities, the phones sell out in a matter of minutes, making it difficult for everyone to buy the phone on sale.

To bring some order and discipline in the way it sells phones online, Xiaomi started accepting pre-orders in March for its popular smartphones with a promise to deliver in a set period of time. Buyers can pre-order the Redmi Note 4 or Redmi 4 from the company's online store on Friday.

Once the pre-order is placed, Xiaomi will ship the handset within 5 days. Buyers do not get cash on delivery option with pre-orders as they must pay in full to get the shipment process started. Orders can be cancelled anytime before the smartphone is actually shipped, and the refund process will take up to 10 days.

Xiaomi had also put its affordable Redmi 4A up for pre-orders on its estore on Friday. But the handset ran out of stock, and buyers must wait for their next chance. Xiaomi will hold Redmi 4 and Redmi 4A flash sales on Amazon India on June 20 and June 22, respectively, so you can mark your calendars to get a foot in the door.

The Redmi Note 4 is a Flipkart-exclusive and currently out of stock. The next sale date for the handset is unknown at the moment. Pre-order the Redmi Note 4 is the only safe bet to purchase the phone while stocks last.

In case you're not too sure about buying which smartphone, let's quickly run you through the specs. The Redmi 4 is affordable at Rs. 6,999 for 2GB RAM+16GB ROM model and Rs. 8,999 for 3GB+32GB ROM, as compared to the Redmi Note 4, with the price starting at Rs. 9,999.
