Salman Khan's "Bajrangi Bhaijaan", which released in July 2015, impressed moviegoers and Bollywood celebrities with its storyline. The story of a mute Pakistani girl (played by Harshaali Malhotra) who is lost in India and meets Pavan (played by Salman) melted several hearts and it continues to do so even after six months of its release.

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" received rave reviews from Bollywood celebrities and the latest one to join the league is "Airlift" actor Akshay Kumar. Akshay praised Salman's film and said that "Bajrangi Bhaijaan" is a patriotic story.

During the promotion of his film, Akshay was appreciated for making films like "Baby", "Holiday" and now "Airlift", to this the actor replied, "It's not only my films which are patriotic, I think even Bajrangi Bhaijaan had a patriotic story which was presented beautifully in a commercial manner."

"Bajrangi Bhaijaan" became a huge hit at the Pakistani box office as well.

Meanwhile, Akshay's upcoming release has created a huge buzz with its trailer. The film, starring Akshay and Nimrat Kaur, is based on the real life story of the biggest evacuation of Indians based in Kuwait during the Iraq-Kuwait war. The film will be released worldwide on 22 January.
