Hebbuli movie review: Live audience response

Sudeep and Ravichandran-starrer Hebbuli has garnered positive reviews from the audience. The movie is being praised by the viewers for its action elements backed by Sudeep and Ravichandran's performance.

It is an action entertainer, which is jointly bankrolled by Raghunath and Umapathy Srinivas. This is the second directorial venture of cinematographer-turned-director S Krishna of Gajakesari fame. The Kannada film has managed to get positive reviews. 

Popular actress Amala Paul is making her debut in Kannada with Hebbuli. Kabir Duhan Singh will be seen in the role of a villain, while P Ravishankar, Ravi Kishan (Bhojpuri actor), Sampath Raj and many others are in the supporting cast. See pics: Hebbuli latest movie pictures | Movie posters

A Karunakar, a former associate of S Krishna, has handled the cinematography while Deepu S Kumar has edited the flick. Arjun Janya has composed the music for Hebbuli and a few tracks, including Hulli Hulli and Usire Usire, have struck the right chord with the audience.

Hebbuli box office collection: Sudeep's film will collect Rs 20 crore in 1st week

Sudeep plays the role of Captain Raam, a para commando in Hebbuli. He returns home following the death of his brother and IAS officer named Sathyamurthy played by Ravichandran, who dies under mysterious circumstances. Now, he has a challenge to investigate the death when nothing favours him.

Who are behind Sathyamurthy's death? What is the motive? Will Raam find his enemies? Answers to these questions form the rest of the story.

The audience say that Hebbuli is an action extravaganza. Sudeep's looks and acting have highly impressed them. Ravichandran too shines in his limited role. The cinematography and music departments get thumbs up. They say that the Kannada film has a decent story and could be easily watched once.
