Friday's episode of Hawaii Five-0 was definitely an action-packed one as it saw Steve McGarrett and Alicia being held captive by the chess piece killer, who turned out to be Madison Gray.

The episode saw Alicia and McGarrett asking Madison to hand over the notes on the police officer who killed himself and she said that she'll hand it over to them next morning. But Alicia went to Madison's house without McGarrett's knowledge and ended up being held captive. McGarrett, who came in search of Alicia, was also stabbed by Madison.

Madison fled before the Five-0 could nab the killer, and this storyline will pick up sometime later this season. It remains to be seen if Alicia continues to be a part of future storylines.

"That's an arc that's over four episodes, but the person behind it is not going to be caught," showrunner Peter M. Lenkov told Entertainment Weekly in an earlier interview. "That's somebody who's still going to be in the wind, so I'm hoping that someone can come back closer to the second half, or closer to the end of the season, in order to wrap that storyline up."

Meanwhile, next episode will see Adam being released from prison and reuniting with Kono. The episode is titled Ke Ku 'Ana, meaning The Stand.

The synopsis for the next episode reads:

When a cache of guns is stolen from a gun range, Five-0 discovers the culprit is intent on making a dramatic and potentially deadly statement on gun violence. Also, Kono and Adam are finally reunited when he is released from prison.

Hawaii Five-0 airs Fridays on CBS.
